If you have the ability to pay the tax, it is probably best to just pay the IRS off and move on with your life. Many taxpayers who have the ability to pay the IRS off in full believe that they are entitled to a reduced amount if the pay in a lump some amount. They say, “I hear that the IRS accepts offers.” The IRS does have an IRS offer in compromise program. But that is not for people who have the ability to pay in full or pay in full in monthly payments.
If you can pay the IRS you do not qualify for any other IRS settlement option. A summary of IRS payment plans will help you to decide if this is the best option.
IRS payment plans are based on your ability to pay. The IRS allows you reasonable allowances for living expenses. This is true for most of your living expenses except for housing. The IRS is reluctant to allow more than a modest home mortgage or apartment rent.
We guarantee that we will get the minimum payment plan allowed by law. We do this even though you may be able to pay more. You can always send in more without the IRS increasing your monthly payment but you can never send in late or less than the agreed amount.
If you are in default on your IRS payment plan, read section--default IRS installment arrangement.

So what is a true testimonial? There are two types that you should only have confidence in.
The first is a letter from the IRS stating what the settlement was.
The second type of testimonial is to actually talk to a client that had a similar problem that we recently resolved.
