You might call this the centerfold of our practice. This is what everyone wants and yet it is the one least understood. There are basically six ways to settle and IRS tax debt:
Many times a client will come in convinced they know the best option and treat us like we are a Baskin-Robbins and order one of our 6 flavors. Sorry, we don’t work that way. We require all of our clients to evaluate all six options. Every option has a pro and a con to it—something good about it and something bad about it. However, one of the options is far better than the other five.
We never want a client to experience “buyer’s remorse.” Invariably you will see on TV or hear on the radio read in the news paper or talk to someone (who has probably never had a tax problem), about one of the mentioned settlement options. WE WANT YOU TO KNOW WHY YOU PICKED THE RIGHT OPTION AND WHY NOT CHOOSE TO USE THE OTHERS.
For this to happen we need to know the years that have tax debts, the amount due for each year and have correct financial information from you. Then we will evaluate all six options at one time. Sometimes this requires you to look into your crystal ball and forecast your situation as it will be in six months, a year, three years, etc. in the future. As you review the six options, consider them a preview of coming attractions. The real movie begins when we have all of the facts.

So what is a true testimonial? There are two types that you should only have confidence in.
The first is a letter from the IRS stating what the settlement was.
The second type of testimonial is to actually talk to a client that had a similar problem that we recently resolved.
